Station closure

Commercial Procedure 2026-2027

Ski pass AP / NP / OA / PA

Details of the criteria to be applied in case of full or partial station closure

Individual product

Ski pass: the same ski pass will be valid for a new ski day during the current season or the next. You will need to present at the ticket office on the day you wish to use it. Ticket office staff will have to verify that it has not been used previously.

*Pass type: The compensation will be given with the same type (AP/NP/OA/PA) and category (Adult/Junior/Infant) of pass that the customer presents at the ticket office. E.g.: if the customer presents a NP pass for beginners or child/junior, the new ski day will be of the same type; it cannot be exchanged for an AP adult pass day.

Vouchers from previous seasons: Customers who have a voucher for a ski pass day from the previous season must present it directly at the ticket office on the day they wish to use the free day. Vouchers issued by operators will not be accepted.

Closure letters: customers who wish can request at the ticket office a letter certifying the station closure day to use with an insurance company. To obtain this letter, it is mandatory to submit the original passes and vouchers for the services to be claimed.

Pass with insurance: If the pass contracted for the day of station closure includes ski insurance contracted at Grandvalira Resorts, the new ski day will also include insurance.

What the client can do

  • Clients are advised to remain in their respective sectors.

Ski and Snowboard school

Groups / Private / Snow Garden / Kids Program

If the closure of the affected sector occurs one or more days before the last day of the course
The school will coordinate the make-up lessons so that the client can make them up in another sector or on another day during their stay. This coordination will be carried out by the school directly with the end client.

If the closure occurs on the last day of the course or the missed time could not be recovered

The client will be offered a voucher as compensation for the hours not completed, valid for use during the current or following season. The end client will receive this compensation directly from the corresponding school.

Dining

Express menu / Self service*

The following solutions will be applied in order of feasibility

Open food service points

Some of the food service points are located at the foot of the slopes, so you can use the services in the restaurants that remain open.

Closed food service points

The voucher or ticket from the day of closure will be valid for another day during the current or next season. The date on the voucher must match the day of closure.

* Grandvalira station product

Groups

Ski pass + Group Lessons + Menu Package

GRUPOS: SCHOOL / ADULTS / FAMILIES

TOTAL CLOSURE or CLOSURE OF THE SECTOR ASSIGNED TO THE GROUP:
The group is not diverted to another sector/station. The service package is modified by removing the unused services corresponding to the affected day. To obtain a refund for the closure day, it is necessary to return the corresponding ski pass and vouchers to the ticket office. This refund can be made on the last day of service, if the closure occurs in the middle of the stay.

CLOSURE OF THE Arinsal SECTOR: Groups are diverted to Pal if the sector has availability (school / restaurant). The operation is coordinated directly on site, and the reservation is not modified. If diversion is not possible, the total closure procedure is applied.

Exceptionally, if the client wishes to make up the lesson hours on the remaining days of their stay and the school is able to provide the service; or if the client requests a picnic for another day of the stay and the restaurant can provide the service, the package will be modified by removing only the unused services (mandatory return of the voucher)

Adventure activities

Individual product

Activity center open: Services that remain active can be used.

Activity center closed or activity unavailable: It will be coordinated so that the client can enjoy the activity on another day during the current season (not valid for the following season).

This coordination will be handled by the activity center directly with the end client or through Contact Center & Booking NEVASA.

Group product

Activity center open: Services that remain active can be used.

Activity center closed or activity unavailable: Upon evaluation, the unused service will be refunded, provided all tickets or vouchers are returned to Grandvalira Resorts

Unused rental

If the equipment is not picked up from the store, or if it is picked up but not used for one or more days due to station closure, the customer may request a voucher from Contact Center & Booking NEVASA to use the service on another day during the current or following season.
