SLOPE SIGNAGE
Learn and identify the signs at the resort to ensure safety and orientation on the slopes.
Markers and slope level
The slopes are classified by colors according to their level: green for beginners, blue for intermediates, red for experts, and black for advanced experts. These colors are mainly associated with the steepness of the slope, so that skiers and snowboarders can easily see which routes suit them best.
Along the sides of each slope we find the markers, elements that serve a dual purpose: orientation and safety.
- Their color indicates the degree of difficulty of the slope, making it easier to choose the route best suited to the skier’s level.
- They display the name of the slope so it can be quickly identified on the resort map.
- In addition, they include a number. These are arranged in descending order as you go down, allowing the skier to know their approximate location at all times and whether there is a long or short distance left to reach the end of the slope.

Avalanche risk scale
It’s important to consider the avalanche risk for any off-piste activities. This scale indicates the danger level from 1 (favourable conditions) to 5 (very unfavourable conditions). We recommend using the Safe365 app to help speed up rescue operations if needed. You can also call 112, the emergency number in Andorra.
