How to get to Andorra
By car or bus
If you choose to travel by road from Spain, you can access by following C-145 from Lleida, or the C-16 from the Cadí tunnel or Puigcerdà. From France, you can enter via the N-22 road, crossing the border through Pas de la Casa. If you prefer, several companies offer bus routes to Andorra.
- ANDORRA – TOULOUSE: service offered by the company AndBus with two stops in Toulouse: the Airport or Gare Matabiau.
- ANDORRA – BARCELONA: there are three companies offering this route: DirectBus, which stops at Sants Station or El Prat Airport, AndBus with a stop at El Prat Airport as well, and ALSA arriving in Barcelona at Estación del Norte.
- ANDORRA – LLEIDA: the Hife bus connects with Lleida, stopping at the AVE station or the Lleida bus station.
- ANDORRA – COSTA DAURADA: the Hife company also connects the Pyrenees with Costa Daurada, with regular departures and stops at Reus Airport, Tarragona, Salou, Cambrils, Miami Platja, and Hospitalet de l’Infant.
- ANDORRA – LA SEU D’URGELL – PUIGCERDÀ: to get to the RENFE station in Puigcerdà, you need to take a bus to La Seu d’Urgell, and from La Seu d’Urgell a bus to Puigcerdà.
By plane
It is now possible to reach the Principality of Andorra by plane thanks to the International Airport of Andorra – La Seu d’Urgell, just 20 minutes from the country’s southern border. Currently, there are regular flights from Madrid and Palma de Mallorca, depending on the season. The flight options vary throughout the year, so it is recommended to check the available schedules before your trip.
In addition, Andorra is well connected by road to other nearby international airports, such as Barcelona-El Prat or Toulouse-Blagnac, which offer regular transport services to the Principality:

The AVE Madrid-Lleida allows you to reach the capital of Lleida. From there, coaches from AndBus, ALSA and HIFE connect daily with Andorra.
On the French side, the closest train stations are L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre (accessible via Skirail) or La Tour de Carol. Daily connections to Andorra with buses operated by HIFE.
